This project is a compilation of selected moving infographics and posters I created during my internship at the Office of the Provincial Information Officer (OPIO) under the Provincial Government of Cavite. These materials were featured on the department’s official Facebook page (Story Updates), primarily to celebrate holidays, promote awareness campaigns, and highlight local tourist destinations. In addition to creating moving infographics, I was occasionally assigned to submit poster drafts or post design ideas for upcoming social media announcements and events.

OBJECTIVE

The main goal of this project was to produce engaging and informative visual content that could effectively communicate messages to the public through social media. Each infographic aimed to highlight relevant topics such as national holidays, Cavite’s tourism, and public awareness initiatives in a visually appealing and accessible way.

CHALLENGE

One of the key challenges was the fast-paced workflow — there were times when interns were each assigned different infographic topics that needed to be designed and submitted either on the same day or one day before posting. Meeting these tight deadlines while ensuring accuracy and creativity was challenging. Balancing quality design with real-time feedback and revisions also tested time management and adaptability.

APPROACH/ SOLUTION

To manage time efficiently, I focused on quick ideation and used Google to research accurate details for each topic. I designed the infographics using Canva, ensuring that every piece remained visually cohesive. Collaboration also played a role — while most tasks were done individually, we supported each other by sharing feedback and suggestions when possible.

RESULTS/ OUTCOME

Through this internship experience, I successfully created and published multiple infographics and posters that contributed to OPIO’s social media presence. The project helped me develop stronger time management, design adaptability, and research skills. It also gave me firsthand experience in working under real-world conditions with tight deadlines and high creative expectations.
